About Ari Gronich

“As long as I can conceive something better than myself, I cannot be easy unless I am striving to bring it into existence or clearing the way for it.” George Bernard Shaw

Sports and athletics have always been a big part of my life – beginning with gymnastics and baseball in my childhood, and exploring tennis and cycling as a teenager. A dedication to a multitude of martial arts forms over the last 20 years has helped to round out my athletic interests. In my late teens, while watching the Olympics, my world was rocked by a life-changing epiphany. I realized that with the way human beings are constantly breaking world records, there seemed to be a virtually unlimited potential locked within us. My quest to discover the secrets of the human potential led me on a journey that continues today.

My name is Ari Gronich “The Performance Therapist” and I have worked with Olympic, Paralympic, professional, and amateur athletes for the length of my almost 20 year career. I have over 25,000 hours of hands on work and 5000 plus hours of training and internship.  Through the years I have developed my Unique methodology, ARI Sports Therapy, by selecting and combining techniques from a number of disciplines including:  the USSR Sports Federation, martial arts, gymnastics, various body work methods, sports therapy, personal training, performance enhancement, corrective exercise, and kinesiology.  I approach each athlete as a unique set of challenges:  cartilage, tendons, joints, muscles, bone, lungs, heart, and brain that must all work together and be in balance to maximize immediate and long-term performance.

Lord Chesterfield said, “You must look into people, as well as at them.”

By looking into you and seeing what your body really needs, I will help you!!!

Vision Statement

Create a fundamental change in the global community from a strictly reactive system of medicine that focuses on symptom and emergency treatment to a proactive system based on whole-being health as well as illness and injury prevention. Personally teach and influence at least one million people.

Why ARI Sports Therapy?

  • You will have an individualized program based on your unique needs rather than being lumped into a system or technique that may not serve your highest potential

  • Having gone through pain, injury, and rehabilitation myself, and experienced deep pains i am able to both understand and empathize with my patients thereby offering a well rounded holistic approach.

  • As an athlete and competitor, I am intimately familiar with that mindset and know what it takes to break the mold and reach new heights.

  • Rather than having education in only a single modality or technique, I have training in a multitude of modalities and therefore can draw from a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience

  • My clientele are all people who are goal-oriented and focused on creating lifestyle changes towards greater health. Whether this means they are just beginning these changes, or whether they’ve been active, and now want to push themselves past their previous limits, their goals and motivation are my primary concern. In this way we have targets to reach that keep the focus steady and make sure that no chance of reverting to previous conditions occur

  • Finally, the trait that separates me most from typical trainers or therapists is that while I start with injury rehabilitation, I then begin to focus on injury prevention as well as performance enhancement. You won’t find yourself halfway toward your goals and then suddenly sitting out with injury. People, get really interested in training and becoming more healthy, they start a program and are making great progress, however because of the lack of attention to other areas, are suddenly injured and can now no longer train for a period of time. I know all too well the sense of futility and hopelessness that can set in when all of the progress that was made now drifts away and not only are you back to where you started, but you may have even gotten worse. It is like taking the wind out of your sails and now you are drifting with no momentum. My complete programs keep you on target progressing towards both goals – injury prevention and performance enhancement. You never will experience those kinds of injuries with me.
